Description
The pelicans in Fort Meyers Beach are so used to people they will pose when you pull out the camera. Of course he could have thought that like elfin12u I too was into inter species dating, and was just trying to woo me. I have never been that close to a wild animal. I did however notice that the pelicans down there are all banded. I think they just too used to people. Which is a scary thought. I realize most people in general have good hearts , but what about the ones who don't.

For the those less pure of heart,...well....they probably taste like chicken!! I noticed that from a distance, they pretty much just look like a big old bird, but get up close and personal, and they look like something out of Jurrasic Park, near prehistoric!! I'm pretty sure that this one was trying to hit on Cheri, and there she was all gulible and giggly, just sucking it up! You should've seen the look on his face when she left with me,......HA!

You asked for suggestions. Pay attention to the background. This shot would have been greatly improved if the sky was behind the bird instead of the hotel. That's my humble opinion :~)

snicker! Oh, that's a good one! My parents have a cat that would pose whenever I got my camera out, but I've never seen a bird do that!
