Head bent, arms crossed in front...hands clutched together.....A beautiful study for your sculpture to be sure!!!!....It is amazing how much power and grace can be had in this level of detail!!!!You always surprise me with what you will do next!!!....I hope you post the sculpture as well...but even if you don't this is very emotive and wonderful work!!!!! Absolutely beautiful, Ana. It isn't only silence, it is stillness, and the two equal peace. I love this and really want to see this as a sculpture. It has a very contemplative feel to it for me.

its so wonderful expressive, ana! it speaks gently and quietly about silence, and i love the introspective mood it has. when i look at it, i can feel about those moments of life, silently, almost whispering :))) and i would love to see this as a sculpture too, it would be a beauty, ana, i'm sure :)))

Ana, there just aren't 'words' for how much you give to us, with graphite. It looks like sculpture, and yet it is totally a drawing. But lord...you get such intensity in your shading. You know just how much shade to use, just how much dark to use, and just how much space to use. You allow space to speak as eloquently as your pencil. And the person's gesture---the person's posture---is filled with inward-ness and reflection. A glorious work, deep in every way...beautiful.
