I WAS AT A FREINDS HOUSE AND HER DAUGHTER WAS GIONG OUT FOR THE EVENING AND MY FREIND FOLLOWED HER TO THE DOOR SAYING DON'T STAY OUT TO LATE.DO KIDS EVER LISTEN TO THAT? THEN CAME THE EVER POPULAR LINE I WILL GROUND YOU. FOLLOWED BY A OK MOM I'M NOT 12.ONCE SHE WAS GONE WE TALKED A WHILE LONGER AND I LEFT I HAVEN'T TALK TO MY FREIND IN A COUPLE OF DAYS SO I DON'T KNOW IF HER DAUGHTER GOT BACK WHEN SHE WAS SUPOSE TO OR NOT.SWEET DREAMS JANE...TUBE BY LULLY

Jane I hope your friends daughter got home OK...it stinks...can't keep them locked in their rooms all the time but so much crap happens to kids (all ages) these days, parents are so flabbergasted as to what to say and do about their "fun" time out...they really do need the social life a teen gets to learn life lessons. Part of growing up...but where to draw that line. Great post! :-)

Great characters and setting Jane. That conversation has probably been replayed in every generation and every language since the kids strayed out of a cave entrance... ;) As Rose said, you can't lock them up but you want to keep them safe as well.
