Description
I'm not so sure that this is actually a cypress tree as I think the photograph I took of the label was off a nearby tree which was actually a Lawson Cypress "Chamaecyparis Lawsoniana Erecta"
I was fascinated by the colours and shapes of this tree - this particular photo does not depict the full display of colour as some of the others were twisting shades of pink, yellow and green. Taken mid April at the Westonbirt Arboretum

Great shot! I think it's a Western Red Cedar, Thuja occidentalis....I only know vecause I used to have several in the garden. Just imagine how much room they'd take up if I still had them!
