Description

The most detailed image of the Sirius binary star system that today's "advanced" science is able to offer shows two blurred dots. Luckily, we have science fiction. Late 22nd century. A partly terraformed planet orbiting the Sirius binary star system. A civil research & observation outpost founded by ET (European Technate) from Earth. I won't bother you with the rest of the story, I'd rather leave it to your imagination.

This site needs more art like this. I'd say a good percentage of Renderosity is now just color form art ( people post just to post ) but yours is REAL art and has some thought to it , so PLEASE post more of your fantastic work

Thank you all for your stimulative comments so far! I'm glad you people like it. I'm currently working on some other illustrations of the kind (well between commercial projects or whenever I can find some spare time, often even if it means less regular sleep). They will appear here in my Gallery as they are finished.

This is a wonderfully strong piece. It has good composition layout, strong and original modelling along with realistic atmospheric and engine effects. It is a pleasure to take some time studying the details. A solid score of '5' from me.
