Description

Further on down the road to my parents I passed the PSV stadium where these statues are to find in front of an iron gate into the stadium. On the left you see Coen Dillen who still holds the club record for the amount of goals scored in one season, on the right is Willy van der Kuijlen, who spent many years with the club and is a great club icon. I allways get a little sentimental when I pass them for on the last day I lived in Eindhoven at the time I took the train to Rotterdam where I went to live then a grandfather kneeled down with his grandson for Coen's statue and told the little one all about this marvelous goalscorer, something I think I will take with me in my heart through the next few lives...
