Description

Yet another WIP but this is the next dragon slated to be uploaded to the market place when its done. The Effloresper is going through a bit of a modification on its wings and feet, so won't be available until later. This however is the Campestergum or Flatback. Yeah that's right, I've been giving them latin names :P Though the bluntnose has not yet been translated to latin. Heh. Anyways, this one was modeled quite a while ago, and I had it partly mapped, but I found I kept getting stretching on the fingers of the wings. I have since figured out how to largley avoid that, getting only minimal stretching. I've been trying to get the displacement map working in poser and can render it, but firefly is nearly useless. Vue doesn't much like displacement either. It will render it, but it takes about 8 hours :P Anyways, that texture is one of what I'm working on, and I want to add flares of colour to it yet. And some larger scales in key places. I still have a few joints to tweak and label, and then make some morphs. I have been debating on setting up another rig for this one too, one that doesn't use dynamics, but It wouldn't be able to pose as well with the dynamics. Also I've nearly completed a saddle for this guy as well, and will post an image with that soon too. And started an Imperial Dragon Rider armour set (not the same as Iron Clad) But that will likely not be a key project at the moment. The Kraken is on hold for a bit, though I do want to get to it. The Dragon King and now a Dracolich are next to get my attention. Cheers Oop, forgot to mention again that the trees are from bigbraader here in the free stuff. Check them out, they work great in Vue.
