-Special News Update-
Tensions increased today between the Federal Government and the Dayton-Aomori Corporation, as federal forces were deployed from their bases in the Tenhault system in order to begin a blockade of the corporation's home system of Khannis IV.
Trouble flared last week, when evidence surfaced indicating the Mega-Corporation was illegally trading with the rogue worlds of Deneb and Vega II, both of which have been blacklisted since the Belt War of 2580.
Relations between the government and the ruling committee of Dayton-Aomori have been strained ever since the Davidson Report concluded 6 months ago, that the corporations education system encouraged an "overly materialistic and anti-community mindset". Dayton-Aomori have disputed the claim and still refuse to abide by federal education guidelines.
