Description

or not? Dear friends, another pic here from the Berlin 1st May riots... Meanwhile, after the riots, the conflict escalates in our city parliament: The police was beaten up, they have lost the "civil war" and our political opposition cries for a victim: The mayor should go, the police director should go, etc, the whole collection of "hang them up" stuff like that.. There are several people who came to Berlin especially for this riots: Football hooligans, extremely left wings, neo-nazi skinheads - there are thousands of strangers among the Berlinians to have some "special adventures"... These people here are waiting for the riots and making pictures meanwhile.... But: Don`t believe that!! They are not tourists - there are POLICEMEN in civil clothes, making pictures of the protesters and visitors of the fiesta. Nothing is real here: The haircut is a little bit to fresh, the clothes are a little bit to new and clean, there is a little bit too much black color, and where are their wifes? There are men at work! Hi,hi... it is a little bit my hobby to demask this men and taking pictures from them - as they took pictures from me. I do with them what they do with me. It is part of the game, and I am not the only player here: Another young man demasks the policemen in the same moment and calls his friends with a cellphone....right side, the young one with the white shirt... Its hunting time: Somebody is tom cat, and somebody is mouse..... and sometimes we change the rolls! Have a nice weekend and Thanks for your interest and comments

Nice shot and an interesting comment. Personally, I'm glad undercover police do things like this as it means the trouble makers who start riots and get involved to destroy property can be made to clean up the mess and pay for it, and also kept out if visiting just to cause the trouble. Not that long back I read a story about a couple of young folk in a car in a city when some people started a riot. The young people were driving calmly along the road when a huge crowd of rioters came out of the side streets and turned their car upside down and trashed it. All four in hospital for weeks with broken bones, one with permanent damage after two months in intensive care. Undercover police couldn't stop the riot, it needed an army regiment to end it. But they did record who instigated the riot and and was leading the groups that attacked the car. The people hurt can't be made well by having those responsible in court, but the were saved the added expense of over two hundred thousand dollars of medical bills, they got served on the instigators and leaders of the riot. I suggest you think twice before you make it possible for the police to be easily recognised in future.

I am not knowledgeable about German affairs, but if I was in law enforcement, I would be interested in taking pictures of neo nazis for sure since they are a terrible group that has no purpose. they have been the subject of many crimes in the US and I am sure in Europe also very candid capture

What a great candid shot of life in motion, sadly be it not for the festive times it should be but for something much darker, violence! And sadly not just in your Germany and my USA these scenes play out but around the world. If we can someday look back and call these days the good old days how much worse can the future become, be safe my friend thanks for sharing!!
