My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Beautiful shot of these tall and reflective glasses. Glad you explained your title. I was getting worried that your series might be drawing to a close...heaven forbid!!! BTW, did you have something to do with the decision to buy these glasses for Brittany's 21st birthday in the first place? One way or the other, Brittany will enjoy them in the future but all of us get to enjoy them first:)

Love this shot! And I can understand your fascination with glass (having manufactured stained glass for 8 years) it is great stuff to enjoy. : )

Glass has its appeal, and as my friend Victor would say of this: "It is enough interesting," which--coming from him is high praise. He's like that. The color grabs me; I love that warm amber, and the liquid quality of the glass and light. The whole thing shimmers, and I can see the appeal of photographing glass. There's something sensual about it, something that makes glass seem...alive. Again, this is a great work, and I love the elongated cropping.
