Description

I posted a picture of this bush I took last year a while back and thought I would show the flower of that bush. I still have no clue as to what kind it is and will publish more of this year's pics of it tomorrow.

It's a peony bush, I have two. I love the fragrance, but hate the ants it draws. They make nice cut flowers for vases, shake out the ants first. They are very beautiful. Thank you for reminding me what I have to look forward to. Spring is just arriving, thank you. I's a beautful picture.

Sorry elfin14doaks, this is definately no peony, and we have five or six. This almost looks like a rhododendron(spelling?), but I'm noy going to commit to that. I did have one once and the flower looks pretty much the same, but the leaves on this are a bit different. Regardless, this is a great shot!!!

I know it's not a peony or a rhododendron, but I'm not sure WHAT it is! Maybe Andrea will see it and will be able to shed some light. Whatever it is, it's lovely!
