Description

A few of us thought it would be fun to challenge each other to render self portraits using free content. This is a detail of mine. The skin is an altered version of V4 Colleen, the hair is Gnomie Buns, the clothes are by Jan19 (Funky Touch).

Fantastic render. The light hits her skin perfectly and the one thing I am so picky about is the lacrimals. In so many renders they look like red plastic, but you nailed it nicely. Well done!

Thanks. I figured that the only time my inner eyelids and folds were really anything close to red is when I'm having massive allergic reactions or crying, they'd just have to be toned down to my normal anemic off-pink. Getting the lighting right is always hard. It was especially difficult with this one, as the skin isn't an even, smooth tone and I felt it was important to show the flaws and inconsistencies in it. Young, darker skins and clearer, brighter eyes are so much easier.
