Description


It's spring in Chicago, which means that in addition to wildly-fluctuating, head-cold-hell weather, the monotone gray drabness of winter has begun to give way to sudden and very welcome color: wave after wave of vibrant, riotous intensity everywhere you turn. These tulips were photographed on Foster Avenue in the Edgewater neighborhood on May 5th, 2009.

I remember these! I think it was a big tulip day! The colors here are more vivid than I remember them though. That's always a plus. It's the color that really draws my attention. Good stuff, yet again.
