I would nix the meteor...focus on the land and sky...and thumbnails are good...

Landscape highlights too bright, a texture might be helpful. What's with the blue area in the center of the picture? Lose the grid pattern in the middle ground. Since there is no splash or rings in the water, the sphere has been there for some time. Perhaps the fire could represent something emerging from the shere and starting to coalesce into a recognisable form? I like the Northern Lights style sky.

This is EERIE. I had a dream along this line a few nights ago. I woke my sweetie up to tell him cuz I was so scared. shudder Thanks for scaring me all over again. :) It's pretty good! Keep working on those textures!
