Description

This is a commissioned artwork for a book cover. The book "Ssun Fleet - Senza Rancore" (Ssun Fleet - Without Grudge) by the Italian writer Piero Cioni is the first chapter of a series of space opera novels. I've put the entire book cover, because I've made the artwork and the graphic layout too. Al rendered in Bryce 4, color correction in Photoshop. 98% nicely done. Very dymanic graphic! One flaw-- that bottom ship overlaps the "Long Stories Edizioni Scudo". You n3ed to reposition the ship or the text.

Great cover. I immediately thought "that looks like a book cover" when I opened the image. It immediately sent me back to long hours spent in my youth pouring over books at a used book store, trying to figure out which sci-fi novels were worth spending my allowance by looking at the cover and reading the back.
