Reminds me of one of my favorite artists, Hans Werner Sahm, who specializes in "mirages" on huge landscapes such as this. Very beautiful!

I loved all your landscapes (your orange Fantland was gorgeous, amazing how many moods you create from one landscape to the next), and this one 'hit' me when you posted it. You have such 'sculpted' sides on the mountains. These mountains look like some huge god came along and gouged out the rock with a massive 'scoop'. It's stunning. And your shadow & light is well proportioned, as always; and those clouds are marvelous: They make a wonderful 'line' across the sky, a wonderful ceiling that balances the ground. You know, your landscapes could be gathered into a book: They're like 'variations on a theme'; many of them share common elements; but each is unique, each has its own personality, color, feeling, etc. Amazing how you put a different feeling into each one. Take my comments as 'representative' of how I feel, because I've loved every landscape you've posted.
