Kind of reminds me of a checker board
and is similar to one I posted some time back. This view is of a larger area.

Great color. The red/violet combination is superb. Tulips are always so weirdly waxy in appearance, and you've captured that perfectly. I guess that texture is what keeps things from eating them. The geometric/checkerboard pattern works incredibly well here, adding an extra umph to the image. Great work. I'm glad I discovered your gallery, I plan to peruse it and keep an eye on it from now on.
