Description

Well here I am again........LOL These are my antique red roses that are just beautiful in my backyard...Have been here since I moved but they are beautiful this year....More so than any I have ever saw..If anyone knows what they are please tell me...I just know they are very old and very antique......and beautiful......... I had planned on getting flowers from my favorite greenhouse this past weekend but it rained all weekend...So I saw Tues was the only good day of the week with no rain........to go get them.... I also had my Dr check........The MRI on my leg turned out to be just califications...or calium build up...Nothing to worry about I was tickled pink.........My bone scan has been re scheduled for July...so not dwelling on nothing bad...We are cutting back to two tabs of Morphine in the morning and two at night instead of three just to see how it works...I am still on the other Morphine immediate relief as needed..... After the Dr got groceries and me and my girlfriend went to the greenhouse instead of me and hubby......She is more fun and wouldn't tell me to put flowers back like my hubby would LOL I got quite a bit...and she came home and planted them for me.......I need to go back and get about 6 to 4 more plants to cover up the rest..but it will be so pretty.......... My neighbors came by to see the flowers and was so tickled they didn't think I would put out any since I have been so sick all winter...But got to have my flowers...My peony's are opening...it was a sunny day and I feel great for once...No pain...Yeah.......You don't know how wonderful that feels...............It's like a miracle......... Oh and Many thanks for all the views on My Iris image...It made to LWITG I was tickled pink.... The only post work done on this image was just add the border and worked with the hue and saturation......I tried to get a pic of it drooping all way to the ground but this was good as I could get it... If you know the name please tell me....and if I ever move would they grow at my moms house...being antique roses???? Rain comming in tonight some could be severe and suppose to all weekend clear through to Sunday... Thank you for any and all comments...and for those of you who favorite me thank you as well I hope you all have a great night and a wonderful day tomorrow.......... Hugs n love Susan aka Blush

I had an old climbing rose bush that had the most wonderful scent to it, a bit spicy and raspberryish. It grew for many years (long before I even moved into the house, I'd seen several old photos of the house and it was always there) But as to what it was called except for "that old climbing rose bush" I couldn't tell you. But you know that saying "a rose by any other name..." Lovely photo, enjoy all your flowers. : )

Sometimes you need to pay more attention to the petals than the flowers is what I was told. Here in the southwest around the old pioneer houses they have roses like you took a picture of. But, I, of course don't know the name of of them. Just in case your interested in such information, the Sagharo Cactus is from the rose family. If you see one with two or more arms that means that it has to be about 150 years old. I am exceptionally pleased about the negativity of anything but health. Best of anything, always, Lightpen
