Description

This was taken on Saturday 9 May 2009 at Durrells Wildlife Conservation Trust in Jersey, Channel Islands. As I have a membership I can visit as many times as I like. I even just pop up there for a coffee and stroll as it is a fabulous place with forests, gardens and of course the "residents". I found this scene heartwarming. A light touch showing affection seems to have more depth of feeling than a big cuddle. Thank you for your support on my last post Susan " Endangered Frogs "

I love orangutangs (sp?) they are really so comical, and just look at their stunning fur shining in the sunshine. Susan the last time I was in Durrels zoo was when it was in it's infancy some 45 years ago, and I was amazed then so goodness knows how I would feel about it now, as it must have come on in leaps and bounds since those day. Thanks for the fabulous shot Susan, hugs Jane xx
