Lovely, but Adam and Eve might need denim clothes with all those prickly things!

lol, andrea (durleybeachbum)...yeah there are probably a good share of prickly growths there, but it's a very lush collection of plants, trees & blooms. It's never easy to get so many different natural textures & hues in one shot, but any great garden designer knows that (the Japanese made an art out of it, as did the grand palace designers of Europe). But you've captured this from an angle & pov that allows all the contrasts & musics to play out against each other, and the result is splendid. Your accents & highlights are fine, as are your deep shadows. And the differing shapes & textures make for a sumptuous shot.

This garden had to be designed and maintained by Japanese gardners. I love how this all comes together.
