Morning all :o)
One of my Fuchias has become infested over night by these pests and not being one for using pesticides I now have literally green fingers :o)
Thanks for taking a look and take care
Mick

Aphids. Mick, you need ladybirds (ladybugs in the US). Are you fuchias in bloom?

Don't need pesticides Mick, just use some washing up liquid in water in a spray gun. Superb macro! Bravo!!!!!

A trick I use on my roses in the spring (and they get totally covered in them so that hardly a piece of stem shows)is water. A stream of water sprayed on the plants in just enough force to wash them off is the ticket to eradicating them. Do this every day for about a week and they will be gone. They can not climb back up onto a plant once they hit the ground. They just end up dying. Once they get wings, that is another thing but at this sticky stage, they are very vulnerable. Great shot!
