Hello everyone and thanks for looking.
This may sound hard to believe, especially since I've been posting pictures here since 2006, but this is the first image I've created using Daz/Studio.
After playing with Poser and other rendering software for a while, I've been amazed by some of the work that other artists are getting out of it, and thought I should probably give it a try. It's been a stretch trying to get familiar with D|S's format and interface, and if anyone has any tips or advice, please let me know! I'm especially looking for info on lighting, because I'd really like to do some work with more realistic lights than Poser seems to be capable of.

Fantastic effect on the ball of light!

Really nice effect on that light ball. The only thing you might consider is a background to replace the gray. Nothing detailed but just something to show that she's outside. Either that or go for black. With regard to Daz Studio if you have the time then give it a go and see which you feel most comfortable with. Personaly I'm sticking with Vue and Poser as there's still loads to learn and I just don't have the time to take on another learning curve. Looking through the galleries the artist makes the difference not the software used IMO.
