Description


Here is a long view of the Lake Mead side of Hoover Dam. You can clearly see the two overflows channels that diverts any water from overflowing Hoover Dam itself. I snapped several images and then created a panorama using Autostitch. Enjoy!

Very nice! I've been to Glen Canyon Dam at Lake Powell but I've never been to Hoover. I need to go check it out.

A dam to stem the flow of the depression era. :-) This is massive! I never thought about it being spread out...only as being tall. Great shot!
