Tasmania's climate must suit roses, they grow everywhere. This one was in the University rose garden and it was massive! Thanks for looking :)

very beautiful picture, for some reason the yellow roses have the best smell.

A rich buttery glow. Looks as if a breeze might have been around. Try a timer on your camera once you set up the tripod. It will help a lot with the softness. I also have a monopod that I carry, much like a walking stick, when the tripod is too much to haul around with the camera bag.
