Description

Never posted in Photography before because I'm not a Photographer, not a good one anyway. My sis just got a Printer/Scanner/Fax so I thought I;d Scan some 20 plus year old 35mm shots I took while working Overseas on a Seismic Exploration Crew for Airborne Geophysical Surveys as a Systems Engineer. These first few sets will be from from Half Assini, this place is situated in Jomoro, Western, Ghana, its geographical coordinates are 5Â° 3' 0" North, 2Â° 53' 0" West and its original name (with diacritics) is Half Assini. We worked there for 4 months back in 1986, We shot 180KM of Seismic Line just off the High Tide mark from The Boarder of Ivory Coast past Half Assini and 5 times as much in the Inland Jungle in the same Area. The Beach at Half Assini is amazing, actually it's amazing the entire Coast of Ghana. Blinding Sun and Scorching Heat being so close to the Equator and Salt Spray that is every where. That's not Haze or Fog, it's saltspray. Thanks for the Look
