BIO
Since many, many years "amateur" painter, oil and watercolours, now photo addict ! When painting with oil "flirting with constructivisme" not really abstract... Time is flying... and I love writing too. Wrote my first book 3 years ago. Would like to pursue writing but.... RR is time-eating and so is hiking. What a dilemma !
About hiking : helas ! not anymore...2010 !

Great capture!!! :-)

It looks very theatrical. Is it really a scarecrow? Why is it in the water?

Looks like a fabulous place to pull in crappe and sun perch... Very peaceful and it does make you wonder why there is a scarecros in the water.

quite evocative, Francine, and very peaceful as well. That 'scarecrow' could be a person or even some human-made structure, I love that it could be more than one thing. And the verticals of your trees are wonderful 'counterpoint' to the horizontal sweep of the land & water. And the whole picture shimmers. I've been away awhile, but coming back to photos like this reminds me of how beautiful photography can be. Very rich & very subtle. As always.
