Description

The 7-ball has such an "undecided" color that it took me a while to choose the matching materials for the clothes and jewelry. Is it bordeaux? Is it brown? Yes it is, depending on what brand of balls you have. It is very similar to the problem with the 5. All balls I saw so far in real life where definitly orange - but now I now that some manufacturers create a different 5. Same goes for the seven: In one pub here I play with a chocolate-brown ball, in the other it is more a kind of wine-red. But in fact this helped me a lot finding the right girl, pose and clothes. I found this cute "Well... whatever!" pose and then decided for a wild mix of clothes and the cute Rory - and in the end I am very pleased with my number seven, regardless if I was able to nail this color or not. Technical: I used the Natural Gravity Morphs (DAZ) here again, very slightly but enough to get a sweet rounded effect that suits the face with the round cheeks. Some postwork to fi the one or other pokethrough and hard edge. The techno-color png was color-shifted from red and yello tones to what you see here. I am aware that the skirt doesn't fit into the format but I decided for using one and the same camera setting for all my pool-images and didn't want to leave this concept alone as it works pretty well when you see the images side by side!

Positive and negative comments are warranted on this one. I read your writings and saw what you wrote on the skirt. I'm looking at this series as if I owned a pool hall and hired you, with that in mind, it's easier to find the right words to comment instead of saying: cool, nice, awesome, excellent - the standard words we all use as comments. When I first seen it, I thought eww, I don't know... my dinner was ready so I left the image on the screen. I couldn't touch my computer because I was eating french fries, so I sat a stared - LOL... and durring that time, I had a change of heart on the character's pose. I didn't like the pose at first because it displayed indicisiveness... I've always looked at 7 as powerful and dominant - after all it is the Luckiest number... and then the pose fit... she doesn't care because she is easy go lucky. The skirt? ...no... it should not have been on the 7 ball, "too much white" - it would of been great on the white (cue) ball. As far as the color, it's hard to tell what you see. My old computer was "brighter" and when I look at my old stuff on my new computer everything looks sooooo much darker. the girls top, should match the balls color, her lips darker (to match the ball) the necklaces could go red, black or white or a mixer. The character herself - I like her.... If you were to take the ball away and ask which ball she is, you probably would not get the answer you would hope for - I would of guessed the cue ball.... I hope you find my opinion helpful instead of negative, I really am enjoying your series. YOU HAVE BEEN FAVORITIZED!!!

I like the series. Interesting work. I understand how hard it is to do a series and keep coming up with fresh ideas. Good work so far.

Oh, I like the thought of the cue ball going with this skirt, because it would be like a big pearl to go with the lace! I think of Seven as being very sleek for some reason, perhaps because of the wing-shape of the number. And I think the color should always be as you show it, and never brown;)

I like all of your Poolgames pin-ups but this one is especially cute. The pose well reflects your uncertainty as to the colors. Nice job.
