Description

A Spinosaurus spots a small shark from the shore and thinks maybe it's lunch. Spinosaurus and shark both by Dinoraul. I used a really wide lens - 17mm - that's what's causing the curve in the water surface. A water object to show the surface reacting but the associated splash didn't really show up in the render. Probably should all be darker and murkier but I really love saturated color and this cool range just looked great to me. Slight levels adjustment and a little blurring of the skin surfaces are the only postwork

Cool PoV. Took me a bit to undertsand what I was lookomg at, but liked the effect once I figured it out. I like the saturation too.. this would look cool painted on a wall.

Nice perspective and all around great scene! I'm also a big fan of saturated color, and while the murkier water would have been cool too, this is great just the way you posted it. There's still some depth and murkiness in the water, so you got the best of both worlds! Excellent work.

Nice. I know you didn't make the textures, but the Spinosaurs skin is it just a jpeg texture map or are the scales on it a bump layer applied to a texture map? I typically make Dinos (and not armoured Enterprises) and am wanting to get to the next level on my texturing, and am wondering how the "pro" modellers get the exact scale effects that they tend to.
