I like it. Especially considering how difficult it can be to get that old Fuji to focus correctly.

Waddya mean "don't have to comment" - sheesh! Beautiful pic. Love the DOF naturally highlighting the central droplet and the saturated coral colors - good stuff! Excellent first posting! My brother lives in OR, been meaning to go back up again with a camera. (Very scenic - a natural source for fantastic backgrounds for my work LOL.)

Great job! That's water surface tension for you! lol Good job on the photography too. It looks like you have a grey roofed house in behind the photographer (you). A white fence too. You took it on an overcast day as well. I'd say mid-day. You have brown hair. There's a lot in a rain drop. Am I correct?

Hi Allen, This is a great shot. Three beads of water on a horizontal line back dropped by more lines with and excellent depth of field. Great composition. The branch in focus really pulls the eye inwards to the water drops, and the color is so vivid that it makes the whole thing pop. I get the feeling of movement in those branches as the rain fallsto the ground. Beautiful execution. I hope this means that you will be posting more and that your foot is also better. 5+.

Wow! Thank you all for your comments. BTW, Lotus253 is almost right. I was wearing an Irish fisherman's hat, so my balding dark ash blond hair looked brown.
