Description

She couldn’t take the city any longer, and had moved to her forest home. Though it wasn’t as elaborate as her mansion it met her need for the solitude of the forest to calm her. It had been months since she had seen him. That wasn’t entirely true she saw him every day, though they would exchange looks as they pasted they couldn’t be together. Her heart and body ached for him and so she closed her house and came to where she could find some sort of peace. Her days were long and the nights even longer, time was spent gathering necessary ingredients for the various spells she needed to replenish. She tried with all her might to throw herself into her work and not think of what she was missing, but he would find ways to slip into her mind. His smile, laugh, the passion in his eyes when he looked at her, his strong arms holding her.. loving her. Her thoughts moved to the various events in their lives…. Time passed... Coming back to reality she began getting ready for bed, it was late, a single candle burned in the window she kept one there in case he should come to find her. In over a month and he hadn’t come. His wedding was soon and every thought of him being with someone else shattered her heart. Walking into her bedroom she turned hearing a knock. Thinking nothing of what she was wearing she pulled her powers in case they were needed and went to the door. Opening it a crack it was him. His face and clothing dirty, she knew he had ridden long and hard. Seeing her eyes, he pushed the door open, “ Oh my love I had to see you.” He scooped her up into his arms kissing her hard, her body pressed as close as she could get to him melting into his kiss. He pulled back from this kiss and looked into her eyes, “I..” she put a finger on his lips.. “No words.. No promises.. Just love me.” He did as she asked feeling complete in his arms again and she in his.
