I'm not sure what all to say about myself, I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA) and work as a graphic designer/computer technician for a print shop. I have a BS in Historic Preservation, but wasn't willing to go on for a Master's Degree, nor was I interested in teaching, so I found another career. I discovered Bryce way back when version 1 came out, but I didn't really get serious about the program, or 3D art in general, until a few years ago. When I'm not in front of the computer, I'm either making costumes or wearing them to a renaissance festival, or building a new rock-sculpture, or possibly wandering with a camera.
When I'm not making something, odds are I'm reading from my far too wide range of interests: Astronomy, Cosmology, Physics, Archeology, Anthropology, History, Current Events, NASA (of course) and anything else that happens to catch my attention. It's really hard to find enough time to do all of the things I want to be doing! What drew me to Renderosity is the many excellent artists who continue to inspire me to push myself as an artist. More recently I've added a selection of stuff to another online gallery location:http://nefariousdro.deviantart.com/ÂÂ

These are so cool. You must be very patient and have a steady hand. Are you familiar with the artist, Andy Goldsworthy? There is an excellent film called, Rivers and Tides which shows him at work stacking stones and ice that I think you would enjoy.

(((Michael))) THUD! Alright, it's official...I'm a total heel! Here I am, meandering through your images, some newer ones, some older...and I JUST now find THIS! O.m.g...I'm so incredibly sorry, Michael, to have missed this somehow, until now, greater than a full YEAR later! I have no explanation to offer. All I can try for in a miserably meager self-defense, is that this particular period was a very rough one health wise for me, and perhaps this beyond beautiful dedi stealthed my radar because of it. I honestly can't say. This is utterly embarrassing, to say the very least, my sweet friend. And you have a heart FULL of apologies, literally a thousand fold. I ADORE this, of course! And it brings such intense warmth. I smile at both the stacks, especially for your thoughtfulness, and even the title. For, I know you and I have some twinning going on as well, in some ways, living somewhat parallel universes. So, the formations and duality..perfect! I particularly love the concave/convex aspects, and the contrasting darker rock against the others. There's a very grounded element to this. In short, I adore everything about this gift! Now, let me blow your mind a bit, because this immediately struck me. Note there is a foundation stone in each. Atop each, 4 stones. Are you sitting? My birthday=4/4! Again, sincerest, sincerest apologies, for the awful lapse between the giving and the longgggg overdue receipt. I've tried here, but know I'll never explain how much I regret that, Michael. Thank you! But, thank you more, for our paths crossing. For, as lovely as this is, you're an ever better gift. :)
