Description
This is V4 with the Keisha mat and curler hair(a gift from a very good friend, thanks TS). PoserPro, SkinVue7 and Vue 7 Infinite.
You can see how I tinkered with the eyes but they seem to look dead no matter what I do. Anyone with any advice on how to get realistic eyes in SkinVue7 would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for looking and any advice you can give.
Hugs, Luna

Have you gone to Geekatplay.com. They have lots of really good tuts for Vue. I kinda like the one with all the tweaks

I don't know what advice to give on the realistic eyes in Skinvue7 but the skintone looks nice.
schonee
Yep I like the one with all the tweaks as well.

Beautiful work so far... you may have to post work a bit of light reflection into the eyes. I don't have skin vue, nor vue 7, but the eye look happens in vue 6 and even in poser. :)

Awesome work! I can't imagine you'll ever want to go back to Poser's default lighting. I'm not sure I should either, now that you've shown me the difference. Wonderful. Love those rollers.

Nice, very nice pic!

Nice example. I find Skin Vue needs lots of tweaking but can produce very good results. Re: the eyes - have you thought of going back and re-importing the original eye textures in place of the ones skin vue created?
Black-Carrie
No idea too, but her skin-tones looks good!
Minda
great example luna and skin stone is excellent!!
lyron
Sorry, I don't use Vue. Great work!!

A couple of suggestions for the eyes: 1. You need to add some eye highlights - either ray traced or using a reflection map - Try the reflection maps in the SkinVue Eye Modifier Panel 2. The eyewhites are too bright probably due to the lighting setup you're using. Try decreasing the EyeWhite Luminance and/or increasing the EyeWhite shadowing. 3. Also, the lighting/atmo you are using is a bit flat - try one of the SkinVue atmospheres You are definitely on the right track

I'd say your figuring out this whole "Vue thing". I like the tweaked version, not bad at all. I haven't tried SkinVue yet, but will pick up a copy soon. Great work so far!

I had a "dead eyes"-problem in poser pro on mac too. the solution was to set the preset gamma correction from 0.25 to 0.0. Maybe this will help in vue too.

A very interesting outlook on an image may be rendered and designed in 3D graphics. Thank you for sharing!

Great work, Luna. The tweaks one is the best imo. I never tried VUE... but it cause me a lotta trouble to make good V4 realism in Cararra7 and Bryce 6.1.#:o) But i know VUE can manage it... must be a matter of finding some expert info on the case.

Just try to put a light in front of her eyes and go to material editor "Effects" and push the luminous slider to the right for the eyes and all materials you want to be "alive". Go to 20 or 30% min and 50 or 60% max. I often do this for skin, eyes and hair with pleasant results. Make some test with different settings between light power and material luminousity. Good luck !! :)
