Description

Spring has sprung and summer is almost here. We may have missed some of our spring-cleaning, but we still have a chance to clear out those old cobwebs while summer is moving our way. What kind of cobwebs might we be seeking? Hmm... that's a good question to ponder. Let us go into our mental attic and look around our little space. Oh, there it is... that old web of disbelief. Were we to put it on, we might begin to doubt who is in charge. We are always in charge of our life and the events that make themselves known in our life experience. The key to all of this is determining if we are living our lives from the outside in or from the inside out. Choices... choices... choices. It would be so easy to claim no responsibility for our reactions to the people and events in our lives. After all... living from the outside in means that every thing and everyone else is controlling how we react and how we respond to people and events. That is just way too easy. There is a choice. We can choose how we react and when we react. It is like moving our buttons around. (oh, you thought we didnâ��t have any button, uh?) We can take control and start living our lives from the inside out. We can choose our responses and our reactions to the events and people who show up in our lives. It takes a little practice to move our buttons. However, when we do, we will find that those things that once appeared to be beyond our control are now less bothersome and easier dealt with. All it takes is practice. Pretty soon the stuff that we didn't like just vanishes. Now that is spring-cleaning. Our thought for the day is: "When you feel like you have bricks on your path of life... build a Bar B Q. It's a lot more fun.' Looks like pallettes of flying colors. Got my garden cleaned up and seeds started. Clearing those cobwebs could take a little longer... Beautiful image and thoughts.
