Ok, I'm late, Shane, but I had a really good excuse--I was in Hawaii. This isn't half as fun as the one YOU did, but I know how you love waterfalls. This is Rainbow Falls, near Hilo, Hawaii, the first of so many I saw! HAPPY BIRTHDAY~~if a bit late!! xo

Well I can see Shane loved it! (Happy birthday shane!) A beautiful capture for a friend of yours, and filled with hanging sinews and vertical motion. Part of a large group of photos you took in Hawaii which bristle with life and a shamanistic presence: rustic, illumined, mysterious, self-assured, powerful and always beautiful. I remember when I saw it, I thought, "yep, she sure hit the mother lode on this trip!"
