Description
In Feburary of 1988 I was working in Zamma Lake Northern Alberta for Airborne Geo. The seismic system they were using in Nepal went down, three days later I was flying into Kathmandu Nepal. Spent the better part of the next 18 months in Nepal.
Approaching Kathmandu in a ThaiAir Airbus, That's the Himalays off in the distance out the window.
Leaving the Kathmandu Valley for Hiteauda down on the Terai along the India Boarder. The Himalayas are without a doubt the Mother of all Mountains, all others are just Foothills.

The Roof of the world man....no doubt about that!....Nice shots Len!!....I don't say the following to slag off your photography in any way...but as a man who has also travelled widely myself I often wish that I'd had a better camera back then....and also that I'd had the sense( much lacking in my youth...^_^) to realize that I should be taking lots more photos.....18 months in Nepal must have been a Trip!!....Good on ya Len!!
