Description
I'm no photographer...
I have a massive hive just behind my house. They are so large, they threw 2 queens last year. I was stuck in the house while they swarmed. For hours... twice! So, 2/3 of my hive left. Not to worry. The hive is still full & my bees are happy.
I would have liked a better shot of this little guy, but I think I was close enough in the cactus. Its a ginormous Pencil cactus that has grown so large, it tumbled over & continues to grow up & along the ground. & is a condo for Cactus Wrens, so I leave it.
I don't make a good pin cushion.
The cool thing? The bee hive is a set of two large, abandoned dog houses.
Thanks for looking!

Great shot here! Your stuff rocks and it's nice to see this addition to your gallery, now all I have to do is catch up on viewing your gallery. Great sense of color here as well as a beautifully caught, vaguely diminutive bee. Fantastic work!
