Very nice picture. I love the fire glow on the people When i saw the thumbnail image and the title i thought it was going to be a picture of a big white fat lady.

A very lovely image...too bad ignorance appears to be the fashion of the day regarding the subject matter. I think you have captured the Native American oral tradition quite well here, with the story being "brought to life" in the sky. It is very sad that this tradition has been lost on the West, but at least some are wise enough to recognize it and its benefits upon a society. It would be wonderful if we could return to this type of tradition, which gives people a greater sense of connection to their world and its inhabitants, something desperately needed in this Age of Alientation. Again, wonderful job, and I really like the creative way in which you have created fire here. My only complaint would be a lack of text regarding the actual legend.
