This is a great shot. I love every part of this capture, the light, the contrasts between the darker elements (hair and shirt and eyes) and the play of light off of other surfaces (the lighter--but not washed-out-pale--skin, the metal of the earrings, and the lighter bits of the background. Great shot. You've captured gobs of personality too, and that's always the best part of portrait photography.
