Description

The house where I grew up. It's the cream one with the 2 chimneys. Taken on a lovely sunny afternoon from across the valley so the lighting isn't that great. Growing up about 80% of the land around the house was our garden. My mother sold it after my father died in 1987. The land was sub-divided and new houses built. I have very mixed feelings towards this house. Isn't it odd how a house/property can hold so much feeling/emotion for a person. It is just a house...... Thanks for LOoking Fairy Blessing Emma

Fantastic scene, its amazing how the mind works! you an oldie record from the past and a whole vista of thoughts flood the brain where you were that year the very emotion evrything thats happened in your life at that point almost simultaneously, so why not a house, again it depends what kind of memories you have about it !! Only fond one I hope! LOL!!!!

What a beautiful place you had to grow up in with all the beautiful trees to play in. Yes it is funny how attached we get to our houses and sometimes it is a real wrench to leave one. Thank you for sharing.

Nope, it's not just a house. Humans (and Fae) are a sentimental kind. It gives us memories, attachment and artistry in our lives.
