Description

Here are two images showing what they are doing on the Arizona side to create the highway connected to the Hoover Dam Bypass. Instead of just widening the existing road, they are building a whole new elevated highway next to the existing road. They are plowing down the hills next to the road. In the valleys between the hills they are building pylons to hold the road up between the hills. I climbed to the top of one of the plowed hills and snapped a photo in each direction.

It seems to be the norm these days. level and then build artificial elevation. I love the view on both of these. not much out there but that big expanse of dirt.

Why do the authorities never think things through logically! Super photographs.
