Description
The unemployment insurance system here in Rhode Island is a mess. Everything is done over the internet or the telephone. Once you have filed a claim you have to call in and press 1 or 2 to answer questions to get a payment. If there is a problem you have to call during the day, that usually takes an hour or more to get thru. Then another 90 minutes or more on hold. Once you actually get to talk to a person it's your fault for the problem and not the states. You can't go to the office and sit and talk to someone in person.
It's very frustrating trying to get anything done in a timely manner. It usually takes 4 weeks or more to get anything done. Now I have to wait because of their mistake.
I need to hit the lottery for big bucks. LOL
