Description

Bryce 6.1 - Logo added in CS2 I know this isn't the most interesting render in the world - but just to show off a technique. I'm not good at writing tutorials - but here goes I made 4 renders of the above scene as 700*700 - with same atmosphere as "Lonely tree" - I had 1 light in each render - which i pulled further back in the scene for every render and with settings 75,50,25 and -25 in strength Then i used photoshop automation to make a HDRI - with the darkest image set to -4ev the next to -2ev the next 0ev and the last +2 ev - then i adjusted the result to something i found suiteable. I used the resulting HDR file as IBL in the same scene and rendered it. It was amazingly fast render- i tried the same with a "proffesional" HDRI - and the result was almost the same - but with a render time about 10 times slower. I know i haven't used the IBL as background - because it was not suitable for that - but the lighting is almost as a pro HDRI Fullsize is 1920*1200 Should be seen in full size view for the details Comments most welcome Hope you'll enjoy Regards Arne P.S Allow me to make a little promotion for my YouTube video Gymnopedie Relaxation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JNz_9c7AAM&NR=1 :-) Previous post: thumb_1884039.jpg Balls Balls Balls (and a ladder) - Wide
