Description

Hi there. Today the next shot - it's hatching week. ;-) This shot is a few seconds after the last one - the moth tries to find a way up to pump up the wings and let them dry. You could see that the abdomen is very long and plumb. The blood (or whatever) in the abdomen will be pumped into the wings to let them grow. You could see on the next shots how the wings look after about 20 minutes. Hope you enjoy the story and shots and your stomach is not attacked from the last two ones *g* Please zoom in ...

Looks like those wings are gonna take some time to unfurl and dry out- another very nice scientific capture! Cant wait to see the result after 20 minutes as you mention!
