Description

Hi Everyone, I pass by these bushes on peoples front lawns and curiosity compels me to stop and take a photo so that I can try to learn what the plant is. If anyone here knows, please say. I am guessing it is a pink flowering almond bush. New England is full of non native plantings for the variety of folks who live here. We have cooler and shorter growing climate than most of the states. Thank you for the interest in looking at my photo and for any comment you chose to type. Best to All -GB-

How beautiful, and lovely soft pink background! I have only seen one almond tree, but those blooms were white. These are very lovely, nicely taken.

Ya know, downtown here we have large cement planters on the sidewalk and I pass two that have this same bush in them. The cotton candy-like flowers in the spring are amazing. This is such a delightful shot! I hope someone knows what this is.

These are so pretty and my first thought was of almonds or flowering cherry but as they are both small trees with a single trunk I'm not sure what these are. A great way to welcome the spring.
