Description

Table Mountain on the left, with some of the Twelve Apostles visible between it and Lion's Head on the right. The shot is taken from Lion's Rump, which is the saddle between Lion's Head and Signal Hill. The top cableway station is visible on Table Mountain and you might be able to discern the lower station on the horizontal line below. One of the favourite hikes is up Lion's Head before sunset on full moon, watching the sun set over the sea and the moon rise over the mountains about 40km away to the east. One then climbs down in the moonlight. Still in my list of things to do! This is all in Cape Town of course! Life is fun! Clive
