The bedframe is nicely modeled, but not quite brassy. I think it needs brighter reflections and darker darks: http://www.bakerhousenlr.com/lamanbed.jpg The mirror(?) isn't quite right either--it doesn't have quite enough reflection to be a mirror, but too much to be the glass on a picture frame, if that makes sense. (that all sounds like a bunch of criticism, but it's in the interest of improving something that's already pretty nice;))

Nice work but it appears to have some issues with the ambient lighting forces the picture to look like you are viewing through a haze. I fight with this sometimes in Blender as well. Kill the ambient color in the World edit panel and then use local lighting, seems to do the trick. I look forward to the finished project it looks great so far!
