Description

I have been waiting 2 years for this shot!!!! Dan (Cytisus) is lucky enough to have one regularly at his home 3 miles away (and 500 feet lower in elevation, which is probably the key), but the American Goldfinch only appears at my home 1-2 days per Spring, and luckily I had camera in hand today! Lucky stiff I have been trying for weeks at your house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I appear to have a mating pair at my house, first spotted female last night and they were back this morning!!!!!!!!!!
