the forest is slow to recover from forest fires as witnessed here near Grand Canyon.this fire was extensive thanks for stopping by and any opinions appreciated

It will recover in time though, unlike the animal life lost. Hope the firefighters that braved this did not lose as well.

Great shot, Richard. Wonderful contrasts between the rich browns and snow covered mountain. Nature has its way of renewing itself, and this place will, too.
