Just a little still life photgraphy.
I wouldn't put up a picture without the accompanying recipe :)
Rhubarb Custard Pie
The crust is rolled pie crust from the grocery store dairy case - make your own via a favorite recipe if you're a purist :D
For 9" pie
Beat slightly... 3 eggs
Add... 3 tbsp. milk
Mix and stir in...
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Mix in... 4 cups cut-up pink rhubarb
Pour into a pastry-lined pie pan
Dot with...1 tbsp. butter
Top with remaining crust and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake until nicely browned. Serve slightly warm.
TEMPERATURE: 400 degrees (F)
TIME: Bake 50 to 60 minutes
