Description
I spotted this really interesting palm somewhere in Hawaii (Hawi, I think), and it wasn't till I focused in close that I saw the gecko. He sat nicely still for me, let me take several shots, then wandered off for more important things.
Thanks to Tara, who once again led me to the right place in PhotoShop to get this done the way I wanted!! I have this memory thing........now what was I saying???!!!!

Great capture and postwork. Catching this guy must have been one of the many high points of your trip. Unfortunately, Chicago doesn't have interesting critters like these, unless you look in zoos and pet shops, but that's not quite the same. Anyway, this is a superb shot, wonderfully worked, and the dedication is great too!
